Design Engineer – Mechanical

Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical and hydraulic systems in accordance with industry standards, sound engineering practices, and contractual requirements

Perform the design, sizing, selection, and integration of steel structures and mechanical and hydraulic components

Prepare mechanical and hydraulic system drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and relevant project documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals

Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at the factory and container terminals

Provide engineering support and technical advice to the Sales, After-Sales, and Production departments

Conduct user training when required

Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline

Minimum 1-2 years of experience

Experience in designing machinery, mechanisms, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems, preferably within heavy industries such as cranes or construction equipment

Proficiency in 3D CAD design and the ability to perform engineering calculations and analyses in accordance with industry standards

Knowledge of steel fabrication and machining processes would be advantageous

Experience in design setup, component selection, testing, and troubleshooting is preferred
