Automation Engineer (West)

Key Responsibilities Manage and support automation, fabrication, and production-related activities within manufacturing operations Perform hands-on machine assembly, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance works Support fabrication activities including machine modification, mechanical fitting, and production equipment setup Troubleshoot automation, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth machine operation and production continuity Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to optimize equipment reliability and performance Assist in process improvement and automation enhancement projects to increase productivity and reduce operational issues Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and electrical schematics for machine setup and troubleshooting Support testing, calibration, and validation of automation systems and production equipment Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational standards, and production requirements Educational Background Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline Strong hands-on technical knowledge in automation systems, fabrication, machine assembly, and production processes Additional certifications or training in PLC, automation systems, industrial maintenance, or fabrication are an added advantage
