Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description & Requirements Roles & Responsibilities 1. Cost management of projects

1. Prepare and submit interim progress claims and variation claims.
2. Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, evaluating, and awarding contracts to subcontractors and material suppliers.
3. Evaluate, assess, and certify payment claims submitted by subcontractors accurately.
4. Prepare, negotiate, and successfully settle final accounts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
5. Utilize internal enterprise reporting systems, specifically OA  and SAP .
6. Review main contracts for risks, draft sub-contract documents, and assist in preparing EOT, prolongation, and cost claims
7. Draft, compile, and prepare Sub-Contract Documents.
8. Draft precise contractual correspondence addresses to clients and sub-contractors regarding time, cost, and risk implications.
9. Assist the Commercial Management Team in formulating complex claims, including Extension of Time (EOT), acceleration, prolongation, and loss/expense claims.
10. Attend progress, commercial, and technical meetings as required.
11. Perform other commercial or quantity surveying duties as assigned by management.

Requirement:

1. Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related construction discipline.
2. Minimum 7-10 years  of proven working experience in commercial quantity surveying. Experience working on large-scale building projects or specialized façade/cladding systems will be highly preferred.
3. Core QS tasks (taking-off, variation claims, and contract administration).
4. Well-written and spoken English. The ability to speak and read Mandarin is an asset that facilitates smooth communication with Mandarin-speaking associates, clients, and suppliers.
5. Willing to work 5.5days with alt Saturday (allow to apply WFH for Alt Saturday after 3 months probation).
