Senior Electrical Engineer

Role summary:

To provide technical support particularly in electrical engineering with emphasis on electrical design for Infratructure and the Data Centers Projects; To manage project inputs and ensure the project deliverables meet high quality expectations and are completed on time.

Essential Duties:

• Work closely with the Technical Director and Operation Lead, the candidate should be self-disciplined and able to work independently;
• Review and understand scope, BIM, specifications and drawings from client briefs;
• Ensure that consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans / specifications are maintained across the project and coordination with other disciplines to ensure consistency across the project;
• To help prepare proposal and bids;
• To engage with engineers, drafting and design staff to fulfil deliverables;
• To lead and attend to project/site meeting with Client, PM and Consultants from other disciplines;
• To conduct site inspection as necessary, and respond to technical queries;
• Liaise and coordinate relevant technical issues with other disciplines;
• To build cultivate and build relationships with client generally as a Doer/Seller role;
• Write technical reports and specifications, SOOs etc including functional descriptions for Electrical systems;
• Support site supervision and plant commissioning activities when required.

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by PEB Singapore.
• Relevant experience to be able to perform engineering tasks on the electrical services detailed design (including calculations, review of computer simulations, specifications etc.) for building Electrical infrastructure, particularly in HT and MV substations;
• Familiarity with relevant Local Codes and international standards to ensure compliance.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills, be able to think logically and write technical documents with clarity;
• Participate in client liaison and multi disciplinary consulting;
• Commitment to the company values;
• Willingness to work with, and encourage a team approach, able to interact and work with colleagues and other consultants at various levels;
