We are recruiting for a Senior Assistant Psychologist to join our team.
Sturdee Community Hospital is a dedicated service in Leicester, committed to providing holistic, personalised care for women aged 18–65 who have complex mental health needs. With 31 beds across two locked rehabilitation wards and nine semi-independent flats, we offer a supportive and structured environment in which every individual can work towards their recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support psychological assessments and interventions under supervision.
- Assist with the collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical data.
- Contribute to service evaluations, audits, and research projects.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide administrative support to the psychology service as required.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology (accredited by the appropriate professional body).
- 1 year plus experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health difficulties is desirable.
- A commitment to confidentiality, equality, and person-centred care.
