Spa Therapist

Responsibilities:

Provide professional spa and wellness treatments to clients. Carry out massage therapy and other approved spa treatments according to established standards. Assess client needs before treatments and recommend appropriate services where necessary. Prepare treatment rooms before each session and ensure they remain clean, organised and comfortable. Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation and infection prevention. Properly clean and disinfect equipment and treatment areas after use. Educate clients on relevant aftercare and wellness practices. Maintain accurate client treatment records where required. Monitor spa supplies and inform management when products or materials need to be restocked. Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for clients. Follow all company policies relating to health, safety, privacy and professional conduct. Work effectively with other members of the spa, gym and customer service teams.

Requirements:

Certificate or recognised qualification in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy or a related field. Candidates with additional qualifications or training in a health-related field will have an advantage. Previous practical experience in a spa, wellness centre, salon or similar environment is preferred. Good knowledge of massage and spa treatment techniques. Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation procedures. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and conduct. Ability to work with different types of clients respectfully and confidentially. Must be reliable, punctual and attentive to detail. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
