Business Development (Food)

Job Description:

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry partners, and business opportunities, particularly in food related sectors.
• Identify, approach, and develop prospective clients and partners to generate new business and research collaboration opportunities.
• ⁠Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients and industry partners.
• Prepare and deliver business presentations, proposals, and pitches to clients and partners.
• Track and report business development activities, client pipelines, and follow-up actions to upper management.
• Represent the organization at business meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, client acquisition, or partnership development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• ⁠Strong analytical, commercial, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proactive, target-oriented, and confident in engaging with clients and decision-makers.
• Willing to travel.
