*Summary:*

Hockley Valley Resort is looking for a dedicated Cook to join our culinary team. You?ll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing high?quality hot and cold dishes, upholding stringent food?safety standards, and keeping our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Prepare and cook a variety of delicious meals for guests.
  • Accurately measure, weigh, and mix ingredients per recipes.
  • Cook meats, seafood, vegetables, and other food items using various methods such as grilling, boiling, baking, steaming, and frying.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards.
  • Arrange and garnish dishes for an appealing presentation.
  • Maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment and meet time-sensitive demands.
  • Keep kitchen equipment, tools, and workspaces clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist in leading and motivating kitchen staff.
  • Deliver an exceptional dining experience through flavorful and well-prepared dishes.

*Requirements:*

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Culinary school degree (2+ years) preferred.
  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking roles.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and health regulations.
  • Proficiency in using kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
