 We are now looking for a Research Scientist for a permanent position to join our team in Espoo.

 You will join our algorithms team developing the next generation of XRF and LIBS analytical instruments. The role combines physics, data science, and machine learning to solve challenging inverse problems in elemental analysis. You will develop advanced calibration methods and algorithms that improve accuracy, robustness, and user experience across our instrument portfolio.

 The person we are looking for has:

PhD in Physics or related field or similar level of experience

Experience with Python programming

Good teamwork skills

Good problem-solving skills

Experience in one or more of the following:

o   Machine learning and statistical modelling

o   Signal processing

o   Numerical optimization

o   Scientific computing

o   Computational physics

o   Spectroscopy

o   X-rays

o   Instrumentation
