*Overview* We are seeking *Punjabi and Hindi speaking* dedicated HCA *with Car* to join our team for *Calgary*, *Chestermere and Conrich locations* in providing exceptional care to individuals in home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and possess the skills necessary to support our clients with their daily activities while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
*Responsibilities*
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or caregiver.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and team members to enhance the quality of care.
*Experience*
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Experience in dementia care or home care settings is highly valued.
- Strong caregiving skills with an understanding of patient needs and preferences.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively while maintaining a respectful environment for clients.
- *Canadian driving license and car is must.*
