Workplace Safety health Coordinator- Construction Specific
*Job Description: *
- Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
- Assist in the implementation of the EHS management system
- Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, and installation.
- Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
- Preparation of monthly WSH reports Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Permit to works submission in accordance with Main Contractor requirements.
- Ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with EHS Management System & applicable legal requirements.
- Maintain and monitor EHS records/ checklists.
- Participate and facilitate Internal/External audits.
- Investigate and report WSH all incidents & near misses.
- Conduct WSH and other related training.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.
Job Requirement:
- WSQ advance certificate in WSH with valid Refresher certificate
- WAH assessor certificate.
- Risk management course.
- A team player with and ability to work independently.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction.
