What do we look for?

The learning assistant is primarily responsible for assisting to provide a learning environment that supports the developmental and educational needs of all the children, under the direction of the class/specialist teacher. The role involves some administration.

Aside from your qualifications, personality is very important. If you’re able to demonstrate a passionate, enthusiastic, creative, and dynamic attitude towards teaching and learning then we want to hear from you!

Education

Minimum high school education in English and maths; degree or CACHE qualification preferred.

Experience

Experience or aptitude for working with students. Previous teaching or teaching assistant experience in the UAE is preferred, with the addition of special educational needs.

Competencies

Good levels of written and spoken English

Enthusiasm and aptitude for working with students

Good team player, able to work well as part of a team
