About the Role We are seeking a commercially focused and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in analysing business performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting data-driven decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with data, uncovering trends, and partnering with stakeholders to drive operational and commercial performance. Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business, sales, customer, stock, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Work closely with retail, finance, supply chain, and support office teams to understand business requirements.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, workforce planning, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to business transformation projects.
- Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activity and retail performance across locations.
- Assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives and investments.
- Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
Skills & Experience Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of working with reporting and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
Desirable
- Master's degree in Business Analytics or a related field.
- Knowledge of SQL, data modelling, and database management.
