Operate conventional horizontal lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, and grinding machines, with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience .
Possess good knowledge of cutting tools, tool applications, fixtures, part setting, and machine setting for different workpiece sizes.
Able to accurately and efficiently machine parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Able to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents to determine appropriate repair parts, machining requirements, and repair procedures.
Inspect completed workpieces to ensure accuracy, quality, and successful completion of the required repair or machining work.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area on a daily basis.
Conduct daily preventive maintenance and basic checks on machine tools.
Properly organize, maintain, and store machining fixtures and tools for future use.
Identify parts that require replacement and coordinate the ordering of parts or repair services as necessary.
Assist the Workshop Supervisor and Technical Director in completing assigned work scopes within the required timeframe.
Perform self-inspection and quality checks on completed workpieces before submission.
Manage time effectively and coordinate all aspects of assigned jobs as directed by the Supervisor or Technical Manager.
Demonstrate effective job planning, prioritization, and time management to meet required deadlines.
Carry out all work in compliance with applicable workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements and ensure all prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE) is properly used.
Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the Manager or Management.
