QC Inspector
Responsibilities
- Inspect production processes and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all inspections performed
- Approve or reject product lots based on compliance with shipping and quality requirements
- Generate certificates of analysis/compliance for approved product lots
- Investigate and resolve production issues to maintain smooth operations
- Conduct in-process audits on the production floor and report findings to Machine Operators and Supervisors
- Quarantine non-conforming products to prevent shipment of defective goods
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints
- Support Quality Assurance Engineer in executing special quality projects
- Operate all quality control (QC) equipment proficiently to perform inspections
- Promote safety and quality awareness throughout the facility
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager
Required competencies and certifications
- Capable of reading, interpreting, and communicating specifications
- Operate and be familiar with quality inspection and measuring equipment
- Minimum 1 year experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance or print manufacturing industry
- GCE “O” level or equivalent qualification
