Elevators Maintenance Engineer (Alex. Branch)

Organizing routine servicing schedules

Allocating work to a team of fitters

Fitting new parts

Carrying out quality inspections

Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns

Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed

Organizing teams to make sure 24-hours cover is available

Supervising contracted staff

Checking and preparing site reports, and drawing

Providing technical advice; problem solving

Ensuring site safety.

Bachelor’s degree in, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, within the elevator and escalator industry.

Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.

Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements for vertical transportation equipment.

Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team interactions.

Proficiency in using maintenance management software and diagnostic tools.

Flexibility to work on a full-time, unlimited, or long-term basis as required.

Willingness to work in a remote or field-based arrangement.
