Material & Planning Manager

To the Chemical Plant in Uppsala, we are searching for a candidate to lead production planning and material supply in our unit providing products to the biopharmaceutical industry globally.
Essential Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for all production planning, distribution planning and procurement of all direct material. Recognized as a professional expert, leads a team and a complex function. Products are world leading in its field and produced in highly specialized process environment.
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
- Optimize inventory and process improvements
- Lead weekly PSI/SOP process to evaluate capacity, material availability, inventory estimates and customer fulfillment
- Has authority in the network of experts and in project teams
- Responsible for developing long term strategy to drive continued improvement of inventory, turns and fulfillment
- Support/coordinate together with sourcing efforts to reduce material cost and lead time reduction strategies, roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Provide input influence decisions within own discipline and area.
- Communicate recommendations and solutions across direct organization and with cross-functional partner organizations
- Involved in complex decision making with internal and external parties.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience.
- Extensive experience in Materials Planning and Execution.
Desired Characteristics:
- MBA or Master Degree
- APICS Certification
- Oracle knowledge and experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Fluent in both Swedish and English
