Job Summary
Support project execution by reviewing engineering documents, preparing detailed quantity take-offs, coordinating with teams for claims and approvals, and managing documentation to ensure accurate project budgeting and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requests for proposals to identify project details and requirements for accurate estimating
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and scope of work to ensure comprehensive understanding of project needs
- Prepare detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs based on technical documentation to support cost estimation
- Collaborate with the site team and report progress and issues to the project manager to ensure alignment with project goals
- Coordinate with project teams monthly to prepare progress claims and follow up on variation works to maintain budget control
- Maintain and update company pricing databases to support accurate and current cost information
- Prepare shop drawings (2D, 3D, and BIM), submit for approval, and liaise with main contractors and consultants to secure necessary authorizations
- Follow up on document and material submissions and approvals to ensure timely project progression
- Develop material schedules and cutting schedules, coordinating with the production team to align materials with project timelines
- Prepare monthly claims and invoices to support financial tracking and project cash flow management
