Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts and prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP)and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Prepare monthly cash flow reports and monitor the company's cash position.
- Prepare and submit GST returns, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders on audit, tax, banking, and statutory matters.
- Work closely with Project Teams and other internal departments to monitor project costing, ensure accurate billing, and support operational requirements.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
- Review subsidiary accounts and intercompany balances, ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls, improve accounting processes, and participate in finance-related projects.
- Ability to identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to enhance accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
