Steel structure Design Engineer

Structural Analysis & Design: Perform complete structural analysis and design for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) including main frames, secondary members (purlins/girts), bracing systems, and connection details.

Software Utilization: Utilize structural design and drafting software efficiently, including SAP2000 for overall analysis, RAM Connection for joint/connection design, and AutoCAD for reviewing and refining structural layouts.

Codes & Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly comply with relevant Egyptian Codes (ECP) and American Codes (such as AISC, MBMA, AWS, and ASCE).

Value Engineering: Optimize steel designs to minimize material waste and manufacturing costs while maintaining structural integrity and safety.

Detailing & Shop Drawings Coordination: Collaborate closely with the detailing team to review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure alignment with design calculations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings).

Technical Skills: Excellent command of AutoCAD, SAP, and RAM Connection software.

Standards: Familiarity with Egyptian and American codes.
