Food Science - International Purchaser and Import Coordinator

1. Source and select qualified overseas suppliers and manufacturers with competitive quality and pricing.
2. Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery conditions with suppliers.
3. Evaluate supplier quality, reliability, and credibility.
4. Review and verify trade terms (incoterms) such as FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.
5. Check and manage import documents including invoices, packing lists and customs paperwork.
6. Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping companies.
7. Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery according to schedule.
8. Work with Thai government agencies (e.g., Customs Department, FDA, Department of Foreign Trade) to process permits, licenses, and customs clearance.
9. Compare multiple supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field. No prior experience required. Strong technical knowledge in Food Science is highly preferred. Proficient in English and Thai (both written and spoken). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Good negotiation, coordination and problem solving skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
