Full-Stack & AI Automation Engineer

About us Whale Services is a Bangkok-based technology & services company. We run operations air-con, renovation and management services on a lean, AI-heavy stack and AI agents and tools.

You'll work directly with the CTO. You'll ship real tools that ops teams use every day, and you'll help build new AI products from spec to prototype to production.

What you'll do

• Ship web apps and prototypes. These use Next.js / React on Vercel with FastAPI or Node backends.
• Work spec-first. You'll turn system design docs into implementation plans, keep specs updated as things change, and write clear handoff docs.
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of the workflow. That means Claude Code, CLAUDE.md conventions, and PR-based review with automated tests.
• Build and maintain internal automation. This means n8n workflows, Airtable bases and scripts, and Slack and LINE OA integrations that run daily operations such as job tracking, QC, payout review and alerts.
• Develop AI agents and agent Skills. You'll work on our Slack bot agent, operational related skills, and LLM pipelines for extraction, classification and summarization.
• Occasionally take on data work, e.g. person recognition pipeline and ops analytics.

Qualifications: Hands-on with at least one LLM API (Claude, Gemini, or OpenAI): prompting, tool/function calling, structured output Experience with REST APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations Comfortable with Git, PR workflow and basic CI (GitHub Actions) Able to read a spec, spot the gaps and ask the right questions before building Thai + working English (docs and code are in English) Nice to have: MCP servers/clients, Claude Code, agent frameworks Nice to have: Computer vision (YOLO, OCR) or data pipelines
