Product Senior Specialist - Competitor & Market Intelligence
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Basic Collection & Organization of Competitor Data
Track and build a comprehensive competitor data monitoring system; regularly collect full-dimensional data covering pricing (interest rates/fees), credit limits, tenors, fee structures and core product functional features.
Guarantee 100% accuracy and completeness of the competitor database to deliver high-quality foundational data for decision-making by headquarters and management.
- In-depth Analysis of Competitor Updates & Trend Monitoring
- Deliver high-quality monthly competitor trend analysis reports; dig into and analyze the logic and data backing competitors’ adjustments to pricing and lending terms.
- Submit reports to headquarters strictly on a monthly cadence, with each report containing at least one high-value actionable insight to directly empower business decisions.
- Industry Insights & Thematic Market Research
- Closely track fintech policies and market developments in Ghana and surrounding regions; produce high-standard thematic research reports covering Bank of Ghana (BoG) regulations, payment gateways and digital lending industry.
- High-quality Deliverables & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Efficiently deliver all reporting requests from headquarters on schedule; proactively align market insights with local product roadmaps and commercial implementation plans to drive execution.
Job Requirements
- Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics or related disciplines; minimum 3 years of product or market research experience in Fintech, Digital Lending or Consumer Finance.
- Core Competencies
- Exceptional data acumen and competitor research capabilities, with hands-on experience building competitor data tracking frameworks.
- Strong commercial analysis and report-writing skills, capable of extracting strategically valuable insights from massive datasets to drive tangible business outcomes.
- Industry Knowledge
Preference given to candidates familiar with Ghana’s local financial ecosystem, including BoG regulatory rules, CRB systems, payment gateway interfaces and KYC workflows.
- Language & Communication
Outstanding cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a multicultural working environment; excellent remote collaboration and cross-departmental communication skills to liaise smoothly with headquarters and regional teams, and effectively advance cross-border cooperation and decision implementation.
