Key Responsibilities

Manage trigger events and material client changes throughout the client lifecycle, including changes in ownership, control, jurisdiction, business activity, sanctions, PEP status, adverse media and transaction behaviour.

Ensure trigger events are identified, assessed, documented and actioned within defined timeframes, including client risk-rating reassessments where required.

Maintain and continuously recommend improvements to Corporate Onboarding and Ongoing Review procedures, ensuring alignment with AML/CFT requirements and internal policies.

Conduct quality assurance reviews of onboarding and client review files, identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.

Oversee the accuracy, completeness and integrity of client records, working with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies and data gaps.

Consolidate departmental activity into accurate management information, identifying trends, bottlenecks, exceptions and areas requiring attention.

Conduct competitor and market analysis covering proposition, pricing, onboarding experience and product features.

Prepare consolidated, board-ready reporting covering operational performance, portfolio and profitability, sector trends and risk analysis.

Develop and maintain training materials and guidance for onboarding and monitoring teams, supporting induction and ongoing refresher training.

Work collaboratively across Onboarding, Client Monitoring, Commercial, MLRO and Risk to improve processes, remove friction and maintain effective controls.

Ensure all activities operate within the Company's risk appetite, AML/CFT framework and regulatory obligations, escalating material concerns appropriately.

Undertake other duties and projects as reasonably assigned by the Head.

Requirements

Proven experience in AML/CFT, KYC, onboarding, client monitoring or compliance within financial services.

Strong knowledge of CDD, sanctions, PEPs, adverse media and client risk assessment.

Experience managing trigger events and client lifecycle changes.

Experience in quality assurance, procedure development and continuous improvement.

Strong analytical and reporting skills, with excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Ability to produce clear management information and senior-management/Board reporting.

Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively across Compliance, Risk, Onboarding, Monitoring and Commercial teams.

Relevant AML/Compliance professional qualification would be an advantage.
