Permit Declarant

Responsibilities: Prepare and submit import, export, and transshipment declarations accurately via TradeNet in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ensure full adherence to Singapore Customs regulations, permit conditions, and trade compliance standards.

Perform precise HS code classification and determine appropriate permit types for all shipments.

Monitor declaration and permit statuses, resolving discrepancies or system issues promptly.

Maintain complete and well-organized documentation in line with internal and regulatory requirements.

Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely cargo clearance.

Verify shipment documents to ensure accuracy in value declaration and compliance.

Handle time-sensitive shipments efficiently while minimizing risks and delays.

Continuously improve workflows and operational processes.

Requirements: Possess Customs Competency Cert will be added advantage

Knowledge in Tradenet/ Customs Regulations will be added advantage

Knowledge in Valuable Cargo will be added advantage

Experience in international movements of cargo, freight forwarding or logistics industry will be added advantage

At least 2 year’s relevant experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Good command of written and spoken English

 Strong interpersonal skills
