Purchasing Manager

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company's agricultural and operational requirements.

Manage the complete purchasing cycle, from receiving purchase requests to supplier selection, purchase orders, delivery, and follow-up.

Source and evaluate reliable local and international suppliers.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, quality standards, and contractual conditions with suppliers.

Manage the procurement of fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural chemicals, seeds, and other agricultural inputs .

Monitor market prices and supplier performance to ensure competitive purchasing and cost efficiency.

Coordinate with the Agriculture, Warehouse, Finance, and Operations departments to ensure materials are purchased according to actual requirements.

Ensure the availability of critical agricultural materials while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

Review purchase requests and ensure that purchases comply with approved specifications, quantities, budgets, and company policies.

Create and manage Purchase Orders and related purchasing transactions using Odoo ERP .

Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records in Odoo.

Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmation, delivery schedules, shortages, and quality issues.

Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, delivery, reliability, and service.

Analyze purchasing data, supplier quotations, prices, and spending to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Prepare regular purchasing reports and provide management with purchasing analysis and recommendations.

Ensure proper documentation and filing of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier-related documents.

Support continuous improvement of the purchasing process and maintain effective internal purchasing controls.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field .

Proven experience in purchasing/procurement , preferably within an agricultural

Good knowledge of purchasing fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural chemicals, and other agricultural inputs is highly preferred.

Practical experience using Odoo ERP , particularly the Purchase module , is required.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office , especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills .

Strong analytical and data analysis skills , with the ability to compare quotations, prices, supplier performance, and purchasing costs.

Excellent time management and organizational skills .

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple purchasing requirements simultaneously.
