Procurement Specialist

About EMEC EMEC is an Egyptian designer and manufacturer of low-voltage distribution panels and an ABB partner, with a long track record across industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects. The role We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented procurement specialist to execute and follow up purchasing from ABB and suppliers. Purchase order approval remains with management. Responsibilities

• Request, compare and present supplier quotations to management.
• Issue purchase orders once approved by management and follow them through.
• Track deliveries with ABB and suppliers against project schedules.
• Coordinate receiving and inspection with stores and the technical team.
• Maintain price lists and the supplier database.
• Follow up purchase documents and invoices with accounts.

Requirements

• B.Sc . in Electrical Engineering or Commerce (engineering preferred).
• 2–5 years in procurement of electrical components or at a panel builder.
• Familiarity with LV panel components and ABB (or equivalent) catalogues.
• Strong Excel skills; ERP experience is a plus.
• Accuracy, organisation and integrity.
