Outlet Manager

Job Summary

The Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the outlet, with a strong focus on soft serve machine operations, inventory control, and cost management. This role requires hands-on experience running a soft serve or frozen yogurt operation, with the ability to minimize wastage, control labour costs, and keep the outlet fully stocked without over-ordering.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the soft serve machine, including daily cleaning/sanitizingcycles, mix calibration, and basic fault diagnosis
• Set up and enforce a waste-control system (mix usage tracking, topping portioning, expiry monitoring) to keep product loss within target
• Plan and place stock orders(soft serve mix, toppings, cups, consumables) based on sales trends and parlevels
• Prepare staff rosters and manage manpower scheduling to control labour cost while ensuring adequate shift coverage
• Oversee full outlet operations: staffing, scheduling, cash management, and customer service standards
• Train, supervise, and evaluate Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Team Members
• Monitor daily sales, wastage, and labour cost reports; report variances to management
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and SOPs
• Handle escalated customer complaints and operational issues

Requirements

• Prior experience operating a soft serve/frozen yogurt machine is essential
• Proven experience in setting up or running a wastage-control and stock-ordering system
• Experience with staff rostering and labour cost control
• 3+ years in F&Bsupervisory or management role
• Experience handling a new outlet opening is a plus
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Basic proficiency with POS systems and inventory spreadsheets/software
