Accounting Intern
About the Role We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join our Finance team and support the day-to-day accounting processes, particularly in preparation for month-end closing, reconciliation, inventory, and audit activities.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Finance & Accounting team with account reconciliation to support month-end closing activities, including but not limited to: Inventory, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Fixed Assets, Expenses, Revenue, and other General Ledger (GL) accounts
- Support the team in inventory stock take activities and ensure the required documentation is properly maintained.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, and other departments to collect, verify, and organize supporting documents required for accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Assist with audit preparation, particularly for year-end activities, including preparing supporting documents and coordinating information as required.
- Support the FAT Manager and Corporate Finance team with ad hoc accounting and finance-related tasks as needed.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and well-organized accounting records and documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Min Bachelor's degree in Accounting (S1) from reputable university.
- Strong interest in accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations.
- Having experience in handling closing or audit would be preferable.
- Having experience in implementation ERP would be preferable.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, effectively and with team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
