Quality control Lab Head

Quality Control Oversight: Lead and manage day-to-day laboratory operations to ensure all raw materials, packaging, and finished cosmetic products meet quality standards and specifications.

Testing & Analysis: Standardize and supervise chemical, physical, and microbiological testing routines across all production batches.

Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards (e.g., ISO 17025), and local regulatory requirements (EDA).

Batch Release: Review and approve Certificate of Analysis (CoA) reports and give final release authorization for compliant batches.

Out-of-Specification (OOS) Handling: Investigate quality deviations, OOS test results, and customer complaints, implementing effective Root Cause Analysis and CAPA.

Lab Equipment & Calibration: Oversee laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and validation of analytical methods.

Team Leadership & Training: Manage, mentor, and evaluate lab chemists and technicians, ensuring full compliance with lab safety guidelines.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science ( B.Sc .) with a major in Chemistry , Biochemistry or Microbiology .

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical, cosmetics or chemicals manufacturing industry, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role .

Regulatory & Quality Knowledge: Strong expertise in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) , ISO standards (e.g., ISO 17025) , and Egyptian Drug Authority ( EDA ) regulations for cosmetics.

Technical Skills: In-depth technical knowledge of physical, chemical, and microbiological testing methodologies, along with hands-on experience in lab equipment calibration and analytical method validation.

Core Competencies: Proven leadership and team management abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong decision-making skills for batch release authorization.
