BUILDING MAINTENANCE MAN

Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance of production houses, feeding systems, ventilation, manure handling, and water systems. Inspect and clean feed carts and chains, egg belts and lifters, manure belts and scrapers, silo mechanisms, cooling pads, fans, and electrical systems Ensure proper functioning of motors, gear drives, water lines, sensors, and temperature control units. Lubricate chains, rollers, and bearings to maintain smooth operation. Adjust, and replace worn-out parts to prevent breakdowns. Maintain cleanliness in control rooms, gutters, roofs and follow biosecurity measures. Ensure that columns, beams, floors and sidewalks remain free of cracks. Keep records of maintenance schedules and report any major issues. Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate head from time to time.

Qualifications/Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in building maintenance or a related field are a plus. Proven experience in building maintenance, facility management, or a similar role. Knowledge in basic HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
