Cook Wanted – Japanese Izakaya Restaurant
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cook to join our Japanese izakaya restaurant in Helsinki.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with Japanese and broader East Asian cuisine and who can work efficiently in a busy restaurant kitchen.
- Previous experience working as a cook in a restaurant kitchen
- Good chopstick skills and familiarity with Japanese-style food preparation
- Experience with East Asian cuisine, including but not limited to: Japanes, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese
- Experience working in an Asian restaurant or kitchen is a strong advantage
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Good understanding of food hygiene, preparation, and kitchen safety
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Japanese language skills are an advantage
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
