We are a shared service run by the NHS, for the NHS and are hosted by East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust on behalf of the partner Trusts of the Lancashire and South Cumbria system. One LSC stands for 'One Lancashire and South Cumbria' and reflects the Lancashire and South Cumbria System ambition to have one team serving Lancashire and South Cumbria in a joined-up way. One LSC brings together the Digital, Data and Technology, Estates and Facilities, Finance, People Services and Procurement and Logistics services from each of the provider Trusts to create one central community of professionals. Under one leadership team, they will provide services for and on behalf of all Trusts. Job overview Please note that this post is Part of One LSC - a corporate collaboration hosted by East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and providing Estates and Facilities Services to Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust To provide a comprehensive front-line logistic supervisor to support the service to all wards, clinics and departments within the geographical footprint of the Trust. Actively contribute to the strategic objectives of One LSC through collaborative working across partner organisations, fostering strong relationships, sharing best practice, and supporting the delivery of high-quality, efficient and sustainable services. Main duties of the job The post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day care of all departmental vehicles. Assisting with driver enquires and forming part of the BCP response team. The post holder will be key to ensuring that all collections of blood samples, transfusions, mail and stores items though out the Trust are carried out safely and effectively. The postholder will be expected to support office and administrative tasks, carrying out weekly audits with the immediate team and producing written compliance reports. The post-holder will demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism and set an example to others, must be flexible in approach and able to use own initiative to plan workload and resolve problems. The post holder will deliver training, team briefs and return to work interviews. They will also plan staff training and development with Transport Manager.
