We are pleased to announce a vacancy within the Eason Limited Non-Books Team. This is a 37.5 hour permanent contract based in our Support Office - Eason, Block 4, First Floor, Swords Business Park, Swords, Co. Dublin K67 X903. The salary on offer is €41,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process and ERP Support - Work with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 for day-to-day supply chain processes involving products, inventory, purchasing, stock and replenishment. Identify and raise system or process-related issues where required.
  • Support the ongoing upgrade from Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 by helping document current business processes and prepare relevant testing scenarios to support the transition to the new system.
  • Reporting Requirements and System Support - Work with buyers and the Supply Chain Manager to understand reporting requirements, identify any additional information or fields needed, and communicate these requirements or issues to the relevant IT/support teams.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting - Analyse sales, revenue, warehouse stock, store stock, purchase orders and forecast data using Excel, Power Query, DAX and Power BI. Combine information from different sources to create clear reports for business and management use.
  • Weekly Performance Analysis - Prepare weekly trackers to analyse week-on-week and year-on-year sales performance, stock levels, and product performance. Use this analysis to identify products that may require additional replenishment, allocation or other action.
  • Store Replenishment Planning - Plan weekly replenishment quantities for stores based on sales performance, available stock, seasonal demand, promotions, planned events, and product forecasts. Implement the final replenishment quantities within the supply chain process.
  • Purchase Order and Stock-Flow Planning - Review incoming purchase orders and decide whether stock should be cross-docked directly to stores or received into the warehouse for normal replenishment, depending on priority, demand and stock requirements.
  • System and Reporting Issue Coordination - Investigate missing or incorrect information in reports where identified, raise relevant issues with IT/system support teams, and explain the business requirement or correction needed.
  • Stakeholder Coordination - Work closely with buyers, warehouse teams, stores to resolve issues and ensure stock, reporting and operational processes run smoothly.
  • Supplier Performance Reporting - Prepare and share regular performance reports with external suppliers covering relevant sales, stock, and product performance information.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3rd level degree in Supply Chain or other relevant field
  • Previous Supply Chain experience
  • 1-2 years experience in an analytical role
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Power Query
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage, but not an necessity
