IT Specialist
MainDuties & Responsibilities
- ITInfrastructure Operations (Across Divisions)
Ensure stability, availability, and performance of IT infrastructure supporting all DSV divisions (Air & Sea, Road, Contract Logistics, and other business units as applicable) in Vietnam. Oversee infrastructure services including: Network (LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi) Local server and infrastructure components where applicable Site and end‑user infrastructure aligned with Global IT standards
Support incident, problem, and service request handling across divisions Act as escalation point for complex or cross‑divisional infrastructure issues Ensure resolution within agreed service levels (SLAs) 2.Vulnerability & Security Handling (Infrastructure Scope) Support identification, assessment, and remediation of infrastructure vulnerabilities, in coordination with Global Security teams. Ensure timely follow‑up on: Vulnerability scan findings Security advisories and global remediation requests Infrastructure‑related security incidents
Coordinate local remediation actions, such as: Patching and configuration updates Network or access restrictions Temporary risk‑mitigating controls as directed by Global IT
Track remediation progress and escalate delays or risks that may impact security or compliance. Ensure vulnerability handling activities are executed consistently across all divisions and documented appropriately. 3.Global IT Standards & Compliance Ensure infrastructure services across all divisions comply with: Global IT architecture and technology standards Security, compliance, and audit requirements Approved tools, vendors, and processes
Avoid divisional silos by enforcing consistent IT standards across divisions Ensure documentation, handover, and CMDB/asset records are maintained accurately 4.Global Project Support & Cross‑Divisional Coordination Act as local infrastructure coordinator across divisions for Global IT initiatives, including: Site setup, relocation, standardization, and decommissioning Network, connectivity, and security projects Global infrastructure and platform rollouts
Coordinate divisional participation in global projects by: Aligning divisional requirements and priorities Validating site readiness across multiple business units Managing cross‑divisional dependencies and risks
Ensure structured communication between: Global IT teams Local divisional stakeholders Country / site management
5.Change, Project & Service Management Coordinate infrastructure changes and projects impacting multiple divisions Ensure adoption of Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes consistently across divisions Support planning, testing, cut‑over, and post‑implementation handover with minimal business disruption Escalate risks impacting service stability or divisional operations 6.Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination Act as primary operational IT contact for infrastructure topics across divisions Engage divisional business stakeholders to understand requirements and manage expectations Coordinate with external vendors and service providers supporting divisional infrastructure Provide regular, clear updates on incidents, changes, and project activities KeySkills & Competencies Professional& Technical Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure supporting multi‑division environments Experience working with regional or global IT organizations Knowledge of IT service management (ITIL or equivalent) Experience coordinating infrastructure changes across different business units Personal& Behavioral Clear, structured, and cross‑functional communication skills Ability to balance divisional needs with Global IT standards Proactive, service‑oriented, and collaborative mindset Strong coordination and supervisory capability PositionSuccess Measures Stable and reliable IT infrastructure services across all divisions Successful delivery of global IT initiatives with cross‑divisional alignment Consistent application of Global IT standards across business units Effective collaboration between divisional stakeholders, local IT, and Global IT A capable and well‑guided infrastructure support team
