Marine Underwriter

Job Description Assess and underwrite marine insurance risks for cargo, hull, and marine liabilities. Review policy terms, conditions, and pricing for marine insurance coverage. Work closely with brokers, clients, and internal teams on risk evaluation. Analyze claims history, exposure, and market trends. Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and regulations. Support portfolio monitoring and renewal processes. Requirements: Degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, Maritime, or related field. 3–5 years experience in marine insurance underwriting. Strong knowledge of  Marine Insurance products and risk assessment. Familiarity with marine sectors such as  Marine Cargo Insurance and  Hull and Machinery Insurance . Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Professional certification from  Chartered Insurance Institute is an advantage.
