Personal capabilities (core)

During your tenure in Licensing & Financial Risk team, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

Contribute to business development opportunities including proposal development, RFP responses, and client presentations by understanding client requirements and shaping compelling solutions.

Lead Licensing & Financial Risk workstreams covering Financial Risk Management, Solutions and Services, Credit Risk and Operations. Work closely with clients and other team members on Financial Risk Management advisory services around areas related to Credit Risk Management, Credit Process, and Operations.

Deliver solutions and services in collaboration with other team members, which might include policy and procedure development, gap analysis and process enhancement reports, drafting training materials, and other project-related deliverables.

Work with teams to support key banking and financial institution clients, which might cover areas around Credit Risk, Credit Process and Operations, and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

Demonstrate a strong commitment to developing soft skills such as communication and business writing skills, along with other professional skills.

Collaborate with large teams in delivering projects and drafting proposals to private sector and governmental entities.

Understand and adhere to quality and risk management requirements.

Understand the firm’s core values and consistently reflect them in day-to-day work and professional conduct.

Apply knowledge of structure, functions, and procedures in solving organizational problems and develop methods for implementing prescribed systems with the capability to predict the effect of changes recommended or instituted.

Demonstrate strong proficiency in basic PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques.

Engage in stakeholder engagement activities and collaborate with clients to understand their needs and solve their most complex and pressing issues.

Work with the client to establish the solution and architecture required to deliver their Licensing & Financial Risk objectives and goals.

Own the development of high-quality and impactful deliverables within agreed timelines to deliver a superior client experience.

Support project management activities to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.

Organize insights and define a logical and structured flow to tell a story when presenting findings and/or recommendations.

Understand how business functions operate and how Financial Services – Banking & Capital Markets trends impact a client's business and how the relevant technologies can support.

Keep abreast of regional and global trends to address client needs and enhance recommendations.

Act as an evangelist for Liquidity & Financial Risk within Deloitte, educating and championing the solution internally.

Contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, eminence, and recruiting to continuously enhance the firm's value proposition.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience; suited to Manager level.

Experience in business development, pre-sales, and delivery/implementation is key; consulting or relevant internal-function experience is ideal.

Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (Business Administration, Finance, or similar); an MBA or relevant master's degree is a plus.

Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic languages.

Certifications such as CFA, FRM are a plus.

Excellent communication and people skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork; demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail; ability to operate project management disciplines and handle multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.

Willingness to travel (required).
