inside sales representative

*Role :*

The sales representative manages all aspects of the sales function effectively within the assigned territory. He or she will be responsible for increasing sales volume, expanding the customer base, enhancing brand visibility, and achieving annual sales targets.

*Responsibilities:*

• Establish and maintain strong, lasting business relationships with current customers and identify opportunities for sales growth;
• Develop, prospect, identify various business opportunities, and analyze the market to identify them;
• Participate in the implementation of strategies to increase market share;
• Define and respond to customer needs within a reasonable time frame;
• Review and present estimates and bids;
• Respond to calls for tenders for services based on specific customer requests;
• Stay abreast of trends and new products on the market;
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of all products distributed by the company;
• Ensure quality customer service;
• Represent the company at trade events.

*Required profile:*

• Hold a valid driver's license;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the food sector (a major asset);
• Be able to communicate in English both written and spoken;
• ·Have at least 3 years of experience in sales and representation;
• Be action- and results-oriented;
• Proficiency in computer tools and Microsoft 365;
• Comfortable using software;
• Expertise in large supermarket chains, restaurants, stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, and others in Quebec (an important asset).

*Working conditions:*

• Gross annual salary starting from $80,000;
• Commissions based on an established scale;
• Monthly reimbursement of $50 for phone allowance;
• Monthly reimbursement for kilometers driven at a rate of $0.60/km;
• Full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday;
• Workplace is within the assigned territory;
• Group insurance 75% paid by the employer (prescription drugs, dental, eye exams, glasses and contacts, life insurance, critical illness, long-term disability, and travel).
