executive and research assistant ( Part-time )
We're looking for a part-time Executive & Research Assistant to support the founder of Daisy Skin, a skincare brand launching in Egypt and MENA, and Alexmed Pharmacy. Your job is to keep both businesses moving: making sure every supplier is followed up, every task has a next step, and every decision is backed by solid research. The role is based in Alexandria, works mostly remotely, and includes regular trips between Alexandria and Cairo.
What you'll do Own one master task tracker for both businesses and keep it current every day
Follow up with suppliers, factories, formulators, packaging vendors, and insurance companies by phone, WhatsApp, and email
Chase quotes, samples, and delivery dates, and flag anything stuck
Research suppliers, prices, competitors, and regulatory requirements, and present clear comparisons with a recommendation
Find and verify contacts: distributors, pharmacies, doctors, influencers, and service providers
Manage the founder's calendar and prepare a weekly review of progress and priorities
Attend meetings and site visits in Alexandria and Cairo, and take notes and action items
Organize files, contracts, invoices, and price lists
Bachelor's degree, preferably from the Faculty of Pharmacy or Faculty of Science (chemistry, biochemistry, or microbiology); Commerce or Business graduates with strong research skills are also welcome
Ready to move between Alexandria and Cairo as the work requires, including short trips at short notice; travel expenses are covered
Strong researcher who uses credible sources and verifies every number
Highly organized and reliable: follows up without being reminded
Confident calling and messaging companies in Arabic; good written and reading English
Comfortable with Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business, and AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude
Discreet with confidential business information
Available 4–5 hours a day, Sunday to Thursday
Interest in skincare or cosmetic ingredients is a plus
