Your tasks
Understand client requirements, lifestyle needs, functional requirements, budgets and design preferences
Develop interior design concepts, space planning, layouts, mood boards, colour schemes, material palettes and furniture selections
Design for residential and commercial spaces including homes, condominiums, offices, retail units, F&B outlets and showrooms
Balance aesthetics, functionality, practicality, budget and project requirements
Present design proposals and communicate design intent clearly to clients
Prepare and update floor plans, space plans, elevations and detailed drawings
Produce 3D models and renderings to communicate design concepts and spatial arrangements
Research and select suitable materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and fittings based on design intent and budget
Requirements
Creative, detail-oriented and able to translate ideas into practical design solutions.
Good communication, presentation and time-management skills.
Able to manage multiple design tasks, accept feedback and work to deadlines.
Preferred Advantages Experience working on both commercial and residential projects.
Familiarity with construction methods, renovation processes and site coordination.
Experience preparing client presentations, material boards and design proposals.
Ability to create realistic, high-quality 3D visualizations and refine AI-generated images.
A proactive mindset with an interest in improving design workflows through AI and digital tools.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D rendering software.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and renovation details.
- Creative, responsible and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in commercial, retail and F&B projects will be an advantage.
