Education:
Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
Work setting:
Willing to relocate. Private practice. Urban area.
Tasks:
- Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders.
- Prescribe post-operation medication and treatment .
- Treat diseases, injuries and deformities.
- Act as consultants to other physicians.
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures.
Supervision:
1 to 2 people.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses :
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).
- Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II).
- Specialty residency training.
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
