Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for heavy trucks and electric heavy truck products.
- Coordinate and support vehicle homologation activities in compliance with International (UNECE) regulatory requirements and standards
- Liaise with factories, suppliers, and authorities on technical submissions, approvals, and certification matters.
- Support vehicle design adaptation and engineering modifications to meet local operational and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct technical evaluation, troubleshooting, and analysis for vehicle systems and components.
- Support product development, validation, and testing activities for new vehicle models.
- Work closely with the sales and aftersales teams to provide technical product support and training.
- Review and prepare technical documentation, specifications, and engineering reports.
- Assist in resolving technical and quality-related issues for customers and fleet operations.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years experience with heavy truck and electric commercial vehicle systems and design.
- Strong understanding of vehicle homologation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in automotive design, technical evaluation, and engineering support.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Chinese is required to liaise with overseas factories and local authorities based in China.
- Experience in commercial vehicles or electric vehicle industry will be an advantage.
