General Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our team in the packaging and paper manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, tracking manufacturing costs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to support our production operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Track and manage bank checks closely, updating their status accurately (e.g., due, pending) to ensure healthy cash flow.

Perform precise cost accounting for production batches, calculating manufacturing costs based on raw material requirements.

Prepare and generate accurate price quotations and product cost calculators.

Assist in month-end and year-end close processes and prepare periodic financial statements.

Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience as a General Accountant, preferably within the manufacturing, paper, or packaging industries.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation.
