Senior Logistics Specialist

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics coordination.

Strong knowledge of transportation management systems, import logistics, and customs regulations.

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate transportation and delivery of materials and products, including import and export shipments.

Coordinate with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and transportation partners to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.

Optimize transportation routes, loads, and delivery schedules to improve operational efficiency and control costs.

Prepare and follow up on shipping and logistics documentation, ensuring compliance with customs and import/export requirements.

Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delivery delays, discrepancies, and other logistics issues.

Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, customers, and service providers to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Supervise and coordinate the fleet supervisor, ensuring proper execution of transportation plans, vehicle utilization, and compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Working conditions:

Working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Days off: Fridays & Saturdays

Location: Industrial area, New Cairo, with occasional visits to the factory in Badr City.
