Finishing Work Site Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented finishing site engineer on behalf of one of our top clients to join their construction and finishing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all finishing activities on-site, ensuring work is executed according to project specifications, quality standards, and approved schedules.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and manage all finishing activities on-site, including plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, ceilings, joinery, marble, façade, and fit-out works.
Ensure all finishing works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of finishing activities.
Conduct site inspections and prepare snag lists, ensuring timely closure of outstanding items.
Resolve on-site technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and coordinate with the project manager.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a finishing site engineer.
Hands-on experience in all finishing work aspects is a must.
Strong knowledge of finishing materials, construction methods, shop drawings, and quality control procedures.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage subcontractors and work efficiently in a fast-paced site environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

Head office: Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October City
Work location: Construction sites
Working days: Saturday – Thursday
Working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
