Location: Singapore Department: Sales and Brands Reports to: General Manager, Megacities We are seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead sales, business development and overall business growth in Singapore. This role holds strategic and operational responsibility for the Singapore business, with a focus on accelerating growth, strengthening market presence and developing a high-performing team. The Country Manager will identify high-potential market segments, direct resources towards strategic growth initiatives and maintain and expand existing customer accounts. Success will require strong stakeholder relationships, clearly defined value propositions and an effective partner ecosystem that positions the company as a preferred brand in its target segments. Business Strategy & Growth Develop and execute a strategic business plan for Singapore, delivering or exceeding agreed sales and growth targets.

Identify priority market segments, emerging trends and new business opportunities to expand the company’s addressable market.

Allocate resources towards initiatives with the greatest growth potential while strengthening existing business relationships.

Evaluate and propose new business models or routes to market where appropriate.

Personally lead selected strategic initiatives and key business development opportunities.

Operational Excellence & Customer Experience Lead day-to-day business operations, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and customer expectations.

Embed a customer-focused approach across the team, delivering a consistently positive experience at every stage of engagement.

Improve operational efficiency through process optimisation and automation wherever practical.

Maintain organisational stability and effective execution during periods of rapid growth.

Stakeholder Engagement & Brand Positioning Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, business partners and industry stakeholders.

Develop compelling value propositions tailored to the needs of different stakeholder groups.

Strengthen the partner ecosystem to support the company’s positioning and growth in priority segments.

Ensure stakeholder interactions deliver meaningful value and build long-term trust.

Elevate brand preference and influence purchasing decisions through effective engagement and relationship management.

Team Leadership & Performance Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team with clear objectives and accountability for results.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators covering both quantitative business results and qualitative performance measures.

Regularly assess business and team performance, taking corrective action where required.

Build a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement, aligned with the company’s values.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred.

15–18 years of professional experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth.

Deep understanding of the building materials industry and its stakeholder ecosystem.

Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, strategic planning and operational leadership.

Proven ability to lead teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
