Senior Manager - Group Reporting

I'm working with a large, listed business looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Senior Manager into a high-profile Group Finance role.

This would particularly suit an ACA-qualified accountant who trained within a Big 4 or Top 6 firm and has since built their career within Group Reporting in industry.

You'll take a senior role across Group reporting, external reporting and audit, while leading an established team and working closely with senior finance stakeholders across a complex listed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of Group and subsidiary financial statements, interim reporting and quarterly results
• Take ownership of key elements of the Group consolidation and reporting process
• Manage the annual external audit and relationship with the Group's auditors
• Provide technical accounting guidance across areas including consolidation, leases, share-based payments, fixed assets, borrowings and revenue recognition
• Partner with divisional and Group finance teams to resolve complex reporting and accounting matters
• Support improvements to financial controls, reporting processes and the wider Group reporting environment
• Lead, coach and develop a high-calibre finance team
• Work closely with senior finance leadership on Group-wide reporting and accounting matters

What we're looking for

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
• Ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 6 accountancy firm
• Strong post-qualification experience within Group Reporting, Financial Reporting or Group Finance in industry
• Experience working within a large, listed, international or similarly complex organisation
• Strong understanding of IFRS, consolidation and Group reporting
• Experience managing and developing a team
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders, auditors and finance teams across a complex organisation
• Comfortable operating within demanding reporting cycles and deadlines
• Experience within a listed business would be particularly valuable, alongside exposure to ERP or reporting transformation projects.

There is also an opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the Group Finance function, including how automation and AI can improve reporting and finance processes.
