Trainee Role with a Focus on International Collaboration

Chr. Olesen distributes ingredients for the global feed, food, pharmaceutical and technical industries. As a trainee, you will learn the distribution and shipping processes from start to finish, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Your training will cover:

Managing purchase and sales orders

Booking transport to customers and warehouses

Handling export and import documentation

Inventory management

Daily communication with colleagues, customers, and suppliers worldwide

Invoicing

Ad hoc administrative and development tasks

What Does It Mean to Be a Trainee?

This trainee position is ideal for those pursuing vocational education in office or commerce. You will alternate between school periods and full-time internships at Chr. Olesen. We have a strong track record with trainees in logistics assistant and office education with a shipping specialization. If your training differs, don't hesitate to apply. You will be paired with a mentor from your department to guide you through industry practices and workplace dynamics.

As a shipping trainee, you will join our international Shipping Department based in Gentofte. Our office hosts 65 colleagues, with just under 30 in the Shipping Department, divided into four teams: Feed, Food, Pharma, and Overseas. In addition to the Shipping Department, our Gentofte office includes our international QA, HR, IT, and Accounting departments. You will also connect with colleagues in our subsidiaries in 11 other countries.
