Position: Educational Assistant

CHEK ABC is a Christian Home Education and On-Line school with students across BC. Our central office is located in beautiful Nelson.

_*Position Overview:*_

We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to work with elementary students in Invermere, BC, in a home education context. This position is in person for 5 hours per week.

_*Qualifications:*_

• Candidates need to have good interpersonal, communication and organization skills and work independently.
• The candidate needs to be able to be kind, firm and set reasonable boundaries and stick to them.
• Preferences given to candidates with computer skills (Brightspace or willing to learn), Special Education or Tutoring experience.
• Experience working with children shall be considered an asset.
• Must reside in Invermere, BC area or within a 30 minute driving distance

College students, youth group leaders, Sunday School Teachers.
