DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inside Sales & Account Management

• Manage incoming inquiries, qualify leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
• Utilize scientific knowledge to explain product specifications, usage, and applications to clients, recommending appropriate solutions.
• Prepare accurate price quotations, follow up on pending proposals, negotiate sales terms within company guidelines, and close deals efficiently.

Customer Service & Relationship Building

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer support, providing polite, prompt, and accurate solutions to client inquiries or issues.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing corporate and individual accounts to drive repeat business.
• Receive customer feedback, log complaints in a timely manner, coordinate with operational teams for resolution, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Accurately record and track customer orders from initial inquiry to final delivery and invoicing using Microsoft Office suite.
• Keep client database records, sales logs, and communication history up to date.
• Work closely with logistics, inventory, and management to verify stock availability and coordinate timely dispatch.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry , Industrial Chemistry , or a related Science discipline.
• Proven experience in a sales, office-based sales support, or customer service environment (experience in chemical, laboratory, or scientific product sales is a strong advantage).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and articulate technical and chemical product details to non-technical buyers.
